Tropicana Sea Beach Hotel, Sharm El Sheikh
The specialist International Travel litigation team here at Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers who have fallen ill at the Tropicana Sea Beach in Egypt with symptoms of gastric illness believed to be that of food poisoning. Most recent reports relate to holidays taken in May 2012.
Holidaymakers complained about that buffet food consisting of poor quality with the food being served cold and undercooked. Further complaints suggest that the food was not stored adequately and that the food was exposed to the heat for long periods of time.
Holidaymakers have reported that they severely fell ill with symptoms including diarrhoea, abdominal pain and vomiting which ruined their holiday. Reports indicate that this may be a result of poor food handling and hygiene procedures practiced at the Hotel. This is not the first time that Irwin Mitchell has been alerted to such complaints we are aware of illness at this hotel since 2009.
If you have also travelled to this hotel and subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.
