Aquis Sandy Beach Resort, Greece
Irwin Mitchell are concerned to read reports that a number of holidaymakers staying at Aquis Sandy Beach Resort in Greece are returning from their holidays reporting to have contracted Campylobacter.
Reports suggest that guests have been suffering with diarrhoea, abdominal pain and vomiting. We are looking into the possibility whether the illness suffered by guests is a result of the poor standards of food hygiene at the hotel.
Reports indicate that the cause of the gastric illnesses may have been due to the poor quality of food or lack of hygiene standards practised at the hotel with reports of insects around food serving stations.
In particular, the holidaymakers have reported that food was served undercooked and recycled food was displayed uncovered for long periods of time. It is reported that guests suffered from symptoms including violent diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps and were confined to their hotel rooms.
If you have also travelled to this hotel and subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.
