Irwin Mitchell has been contacted by holidaymakers who suffered from illness following their stay at Caldera Palace Hotel, Greece in June 2014.
The holidaymakers complain of suffering from symptoms of diarrhoea and stomach cramps.
Despite a number of positive reviews, it is alleged by the holidaymakers that on some occasions food such as pork and meatballs were undercooked. The holidaymakers report that on occasions there was a lot of debris and scum floating on the pool water.
Irwin Mitchell have also read reports from holidaymakers complaining that the resort was understaffed to deal with the amount of people dining in the hotel’s restaurants.
Irwin Mitchell has settled cases for two holidaymakers who travelled to this resort in 2012 for a four figure sum. These holidaymakers who travelled in 2012 raised concerns in relation to how some food in the hotel restaurant was, on occasions served at a luke warm temperature. Others said how sometimes there was a smell of sewage in the hotel rooms.
