Mitsis Grand Hotel, Greece, 2016

The International Personal Injury Team at Irwin Mitchell is concerned to hear recent reports of guests falling ill with gastric symptoms during holidays taken at the Mitsis Grand Hotel in Greece between July and August 2016.

Despite positive reviews, our lawyers learnt of reports regarding holidaymakers who fell ill during a stay at the hotel. One holidaymaker claims that some of the food “was left out” and “reheated” whilst further claiming that they “even found milk the bar were providing for tea etc had gone off due to not being in the fridge”. Other holidaymakers report falling ill with gastric symptoms.

Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness Irwin Mitchell know first-hand the potential long term effects that can be associated with such illness, with sometimes permanent long term complications arising such as Post infective Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

If you have also travelled to the Mitsis Grand Hotel in Greece and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.
