Pallazo Di Zante, 2015

We've been contacted by a tourist who was hospitalised during a recent holiday after contracting gastric illness at the Pallazo Di Zante hotel in Greece.

In September 2015 the holidaymaker travelled to the hotel for a birthday celebration - however, while staying there they began to experience symptoms of gastric illness, including vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain and lethargy. The symptoms became so severe that they had to be hospitalised.

The holidaymaker has reported that they noticed that the hotel was in a poor state and food was often left uncovered at meal times.

Jennifer Mullins, an expert International Personal Injury lawyer, said: “It is concerning that to hear the extent of the symptoms suffered by the holidaymaker and we are keen to hear from anyone who stayed at the Pallazo Di Zante, who may be able to assist with our investigations.”

If you have also travelled to the Pallazo Di Zante Hotel in Greece and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, or sustained an injury, we'd like to hear from you. We specialise in dealing with cases of this nature and could help you make a compensation claim.

For more advice on making an illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and one of the team will call you back.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
