Sandy Beach Resort, 2017

The International Personal Injury Team at Irwin Mitchell are concerned by recent reports of guests falling ill with gastric symptoms during holidays taken at the Sandy Beach Resort in Greece in August 2017.

Despite positive reviews of the resort online, Irwin Mitchell have seen reports regarding holidaymakers who fell ill during their stay. One holidaymaker claims that some of the cooked dishes were “only warm” and another claims that “the snack bar was full of wasps”. Other holidaymakers report falling ill with gastric symptoms.

Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness Irwin Mitchell know first-hand the potential long term effects that can be associated with such illness, with sometimes permanent long term complications arising such as Post infective Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

If you have also travelled to the Sandy Beach Resort in Greece and subsequently fallen ill, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
