Nalagarh Fort Resorts, Nalagarh

The specialist International Travel Litigation team at Irwin Mitchell have received reports of illness at the Nalagarh Fort Resorts, in Nalagarh, India during holidays taken in April 2012.

One holidaymaker has described how the food served at the hotel was oily and excessively spicy, being unable to cater sufficiently for families holidaying at the hotel. It is reported that guests fell ill after consuming food from the hotel, suspected to be food poisoning. The affected holidaymakers have described how they suspect that the food they ate was reheated and presented to them, as the hotel was hosting a conference during their stay.

The holidaymakers go on to report that they have been back at home now for almost two weeks and they have still not made a full recovery.

The illness contracted may have been down to a breakdown in food hygiene and handling procedures practised at the hotel.

If you also travelled to this resort and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you if you.
