Hotel Pulicinu, Sardinia
Irwin Mitchell’s International Personal Injury team has been contacted by a holidaymaker who contracted Legionnaires’ disease after staying at the Hotel Pulicinu, in Sardinia, during August and September 2015.
The guest described to us that they suffered with a fever as a result of the illness.
The visitor noticed that the air conditioning unit in their hotel room was often dripping with water. They also reported that other guests staying at the hotel appeared to be suffering with similar symptoms.
Jennifer Mullins, a specialist international personal injury lawyer at Irwin Mitchell, said: “It is very disturbing to hear a first-hand account of the standards experienced by guests at the Hotel Pulicinu.
“We would urge anyone else who experienced problems at the hotel to get in touch as they may be able to help with our investigations.”
If you have also travelled to the Hotel Pulicinu in Sardinia and subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, we would like to hear from you.
