The International Travel Litigation team at Irwin Mitchell are concerned for holidaymakers after reading reports of illness amongst guests staying at the Breezes Grand Resort & Spa Negril, Jamaica during their holidays taken in March 2012.
Recent reports suggest that holidaymakers have contracted illness during their stay at the hotel with symptoms including diarrhoea. It is possible that the illness experienced by holidaymakers was due to a breakdown in food handling and food hygiene procedures. Reports suggest that holidaymakers are seeking advice from their upon their return from the resort, due to the ongoing symptoms.
The public areas of the resort are reported to be in need of updating with reports of tiles coming off the main pool. Further reports state that the buffet served the same food everyday.
