Irwin Mitchell’s International Personal Injury team has been contacted by a holidaymaker who suffered illness following their stay at the Hotel Riu Palace in Montego Bay, Jamaica, between March and April 2015. The holidaymaker reported that their symptoms included diarrhoea, vomiting, abdominal pain, loss of appetite and lethargy.
The guest has complained that some of the food served in the restaurant was not covered and that often dishes were served at an incorrect temperature. They added that some food was undercooked and also appeared to have been re-served on more than one occasion.
