H10 Lanzarote Princess, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote 2013
Irwin Mitchell’s leading International Travel Litigation Group has received reports that some holidaymakers staying at the H10 Lanzarote Princess in Lanzarote in September and October 2013 have returned from their holidays complaining of illness.
Despite some positive reviews, there have been reports that the food served at the hotel was of ‘poor quality’ with some holidaymakers experiencing birds landing on uncovered food. There have been further complaints that the food served at the hotel was ‘repetitive’ and ‘at best lukewarm’.
Holidaymakers have also raised concerns over the general cleanliness of the swimming pool and other parts of the accommodation at the hotel. One holidaymaker reported that the pool had a yellow scum line at the edge with scum floating in the pool. One holidaymaker complained about the carpet in the hotel being dirty and stained and stains on some of the walls and a horrible smell in the corridor of the hotel leading to their room.
Irwin Mitchell have previously represented a group of five holidaymakers who suffered illness after staying at the H10 Lanzarote Princess in 2009. Irwin Mitchell successfully recovered damages for the clients and settled all of the cases.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
