Irwin Mitchell’s leading International Travel Litigation Group has received reports that holidaymakers staying at the Alcudia Pins Hotel in Majorca during May 2013 have suffered from gastric illness. We have received reports that 3 members of one family were admitted to hospital whilst abroad complaining of illness.
Despite some positive reviews, reports indicate that some holidaymakers fell ill during their stay at the hotel suffering with severe symptoms of illness.
Some holidaymakers have complained that some of the food was undercooked and that the cutlery in the restaurant was sometimes dirty. In previous months this year, holidaymakers have reported that there were poor quality conditions at the hotel with lifts being faulty, problems with plumbing causing showers to run hot unexpectedly, and overcrowded restaurants. Irwin Mitchell also successfully recovered over £3 million in damages for holidaymakers who suffered illness in 2003 and 2004.
