Club Mac Alcudia, 2017

The International Personal Injury Team at Irwin Mitchell is concerned by recent reports of guests falling ill at the Club Mac Alcudia Hotel in Majorca, Spain in September 2017.

One woman fell ill while staying at the resort, along with her partner and their 3 children. Their symptoms included diarrhoea and stomach cramps. The sought medical attention both at the hotel and again when they got home. Other holidaymakers have also reported suffering similar symptoms. In one group of nine holidaymakers, six fell ill with similar symptoms.

The hotel has also gleaned some positive reviews, but other holidaymakers have complained about the quality of the food and sewage smells around the hotel.

Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in the stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness we know the potential long term effects that can be associated with such illness, such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

If you have travelled to the Club Mac Alcudia Hotel in Majorca, Spain and subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, we'd like to hear from you. We specialise in these types of cases and could help you claim compensation.
