Hotasa Hotel Samoa, 2015

Irwin Mitchell’s international personal injury lawyers have been contacted by holidaymakers who suffered with illness whilst staying at the Hotasa Hotel Samoa, in Majorca, Spain, during October 2015.

The guests reported that they suffered with gastrointestinal illness, with symptoms including diarrhoea, vomiting, abdominal pains, nausea and lethargy.

Whilst at the resort, the holidaymakers noticed that a lot of the food served in the restaurant appeared to have been left uncovered for long periods of time. In addition, they complained that the table linen was dirty on a number of occasions, with leftover food being apparent.

The visitors suggested that the food appeared to have been served on more than one occasion, with new food often being added to existing dishes. Flies were also observed around the snack bar and the food served at the hotel appeared to be undercooked, including the chicken nuggets, sausages and beef burgers.

If you have also travelled to the Hotasa Hotel Samoa in Majorca and subsequently experienced symptoms of illness, we would like to hear from you.
