Barcelo Puerto Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta
The specialist International Travel litigation team here at Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers who have fallen ill at the Barcelo Puerto Vallarta in Mexico with symptoms of gastric illness believed to be that of food poisoning. Most recent reports relate to holidays taken in May 2012.
Alarming reports indicate that guests suffered with symptoms including diarrhoea, abdominal pain and vomiting. It has been suggested that holidaymakers were confined to there Hotel rooms due to the severity of their symptoms.
Holidaymakers have complained how the food was of poor quality that it appeared to be undercooked. Further complaints suggest that the crockery was dirty and the food was left out for long periods of time without it being renewed. This indicates that there may have been a breakdown in food handling and hygiene procedures.
If you have also travelled to this hotel and subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.
