Catalonia Playa Maroma, 2016
We're concerned about holidaymakers after learning of recent reports about gastric illness among guests staying at the Catalonia Playa Maroma in Mexico between January and June 2016.
Despite positive reviews of the resort online, our International Personal Injury team are also aware that some holidaymakers fell ill during their stay there. One guest claims that the sprinkler water “smelled really bad”. Others report falling ill with gastric symptoms.
Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness, we know first-hand the potential long term effects that can be associated with such illness, sometimes with permanent complications such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
If you also travelled to the Catalonia Playa Maroma in Mexico and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, we'd like to hear from you. We specialise in dealing with cases of this nature and could help you make a compensation claim.
For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
