Irwin Mitchell’s International Personal Injury team is concerned to learn of recent reports of guests suffering gastric illness whilst staying at the Grand Oasis Cancun this year.

Despite some positive reviews, holidaymakers have described some of the food at the hotel as “absolutely horrible” and said some of the dishes were the worst they had ever tasted. Another guest also reported concerns relating to the food at the resort, saying that it was “disgusting” and that their holiday was a terrible experience.

Another holidaymaker said the food was tasteless and very repetitive, the same dishes being served every day. This visitor also reported that they contracted e-coli poisoning following their stay and are now on antibiotics. This individual said that they had to be signed off work for several days due to their illness.  This guest expressed that they knew of others at the hotel experiencing similar symptoms.

One guest said that the rooms at the hotel were sometimes “dirty and disgusting” and described some of the food as lukewarm, not tasting good at all.
