Grand Oasis Tulum, 2016

Our International Personal Injury team is concerned to learn of recent reports of guests falling ill with gastric symptoms during holidays taken at the Grand Oasis Tulum in Mexico in March 2016.

Though the hotel has enjoyed some positive reviews, we're also aware of reports regarding holidaymakers who fell ill during a stay there. A number of guests report falling ill with gastric symptoms: one was diagnosed with Salmonella.

Salmonella is a bacterial infection in the intestinal tract. The bacteria is part of the group that causes typhoid fever, food poisoning, gastroenteritis, enteric fever and other illnesses. Infection is spread mostly through contaminated water or food - especially meat, poultry and eggs.

Our team have significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness. If you have also travelled to the Grand Oasis Tulum and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, or sustained an injury, we would like to hear from you - you may be due compensation.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.
