Grand Riviera Princess Resort, 2015
The International Personal Injury team at Irwin Mitchell is concerned to learn that guests have become ill with gastric symptoms after holidaying at the Grand Riviera Princess Resort in Mexico this year.
Despite positive reviews, holidaymakers have reported that some of the food “tasted like chlorine” and that on occasion, the steak was “leathery and dried up”. In addition, guests have said that some of the chicken was “cold and horrible”.
Other tourists have expressed their concerns regarding the level of hygiene at the resort. One holidaymaker stated that staff were seen “wiping their hands on their aprons after touching raw egg before handling cooked food”. This guest also added that there was a smell of sewage near the buffet area.
It has also been suggested that holidaymakers contracted suspected food poisoning and suffered from diarrhoea and vomiting. One group said that eight people from a wedding party of 25 fell ill.
If you also travelled to the Grand Riviera Princess Resort and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you.
