Grand Riviera Princess, Riviera Maya
Irwin Mitchell is concerned to learn of reports of illness at the Grand Riviera Princess Hotel, Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen in Mexico during holidays taken in June & July 2013.
The holidaymakers have reported suffering from symptoms of diarrhoea and stomach cramps and in light of their illness, they were not able to not leave their hotel rooms for a number of days and they were unable to take advantage of planned excursions.
The holidaymakers were concerned that some of the hot food was only warm, some food appeared to be re-used the day after as stews, flies were seen on and around some foods and on occasions ants were also seen in and around the restaurant area. There were also reports that at least one of the pools in use was left without the filters in place for at least three days.
