Irwin Mitchell’s International Personal Injury team is concerned to learn that guests became ill with gastric symptoms after visits to the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya in Mexico this year.
Despite some positive reviews, holidaymakers have reported that some of the food, including meat, was “undercooked and pink inside.” On one occasion, the cannelloni was described as “raw, bloody and cold to the touch.”
Other guests have expressed concerns relating to the level of hygiene at the resort. One visitor said that more than 20 of their group fell ill with possible food poisoning within days of their arrival at the hotel.
