Hotel Riu Santa Fe, 2016

We're concerned to learn of recent reports of guests falling ill with gastric symptoms during holidays taken at the Hotel Riu Santa Fe in Mexico between December 2015 and April 2016.
Despite positive reviews, our International Personal Injury team have learnt of reports regarding holidaymakers who fell ill during a stay at the hotel. A number of holidaymakers claim that some of the food was “cold as opposed to warm”. Other guests report falling ill with gastric symptoms, with some continuing to suffer symptoms when they returned home.

Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. We have significant experience assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness and we know the potential long term effects that can arise, including permanent long term complications such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

If you also travelled to the Hotel Riu Santa Fe in Mexico and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, we'd like to hear from you. We specialise in dealing with cases of this nature and may be able to help you make a claim.

For more advice on making a holiday claim, contact Irwin Mitchell on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will be happy to call you back.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
