Irwin Mitchell’s leading International Travel Litigation Group has received reports that holidaymakers staying at the Krystal Canun Hotel in Mexico in 2013 have returned from their holidays complaining of illness.
Despite some positive reviews, reports indicate that some holidaymakers fell ill during their stay at the hotel in June and July this year.
One holidaymaker reports how they were diagnosed as suffering from e coli, an infection which can cause diarrhoea and stomach cramps. Holidaymakers have also complained that the food being served at the hotel was luke warm and described it as ‘tasteless and bland’.
One guest described their hotel room as ‘outdated, worn, plain, hot, uninviting’ and smelling of mould and damp. Guests have also complained about the poor air conditioning at the hotel. There have also been numerous complaints about the general cleanliness of the hotel.
