Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort, 2016
We’re concerned to learn of recent reports about guests falling ill with gastric symptoms while staying at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Golf & Spa Resort in Mexico during January and March this year.
Despite positive reviews on some travel websites, we’ve also heard about tourists falling ill during their stay. One holidaymaker who stayed at the hotel in March 2016 reported that eight members of their party became ill during their trip, including some of the children. He described how his son fell ill with a high fever, headache, and diarrhoea.
Another tourist who was at the resort in January 2016 reports how their grandson fell ill suffering with nausea and vomiting.
Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. We have significant experience helping those unlucky enough to contract gastric illness while on holiday. We’re very aware of the complications that can develop because of such illness, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The effects can sometimes develop into a problem that is long-term, or even permanent.
If you also travelled to the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Golf & Spa Resort and have subsequently been ill, we’d like to hear from you. We specialise in dealing with cases like this and can advise you on claiming compensation for your trip.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
