Irwin Mitchell has been contacted by holidaymakers who suffered gastrointestinal illness following stays at the Sensatori Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico, between April and May 2015.
The holidaymakers reported that they suffered from symptoms including diarrhoea, vomiting, abdominal pains and loss of appetite.
The guests advised our International Personal Injury team that most of the food served in the hotel restaurant appeared to have been left out for long periods of time. Holidaymakers also complained that glasses at the hotel didn’t appear to have been properly washed. It was suggested that some of the food served appeared to have been recycled from earlier meal times and guests said that food was occasionally served at an incorrect temperature.
