Irwin Mitchell are worried for holidaymakers who are due to stay or recently returned from the Be Live Hotel, Grand Riviera, in Mexico during February 2012 after reading reports of illness amongst guests.
Holidaymakers have reported falling ill with symptoms of gastric illness, believed to be food poisoning, after eating shrimp at the hotel’s restaurant. It is possible that a breakdown in food hygiene and food handling procedures at the hotel resulted in the illness.
It is also reported that the hotel is overrun by ants.
