Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, Mongolia, 2016
The International Personal Injury Team at Irwin Mitchell have been instructed by a family of holidaymakers who became ill with gastric symptoms following their stay at the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park in Mongolia.
Despite positive reviews, Irwin Mitchell have been instructed by holidaymakers who fell ill following a stay at the hotel. They claim that one of their group was served chicken that was “undercooked” and that there was “no evidence that the chicken was kept refrigerated during an electricity outage during the day”. The holidaymakers describe how their entire group all contracted a gastric illness including with symptoms diarrhoea and vomiting.
Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in the stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness we know first-hand the potential long term effects that can be associated with such illness, with sometimes permanent long term complications arising such as Post infective Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
If you also stayed at the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park in Mongolia and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.
