Irwin Mitchell’s leading International Travel Litigation Group has received further reports that holidaymakers staying at the Auramar Beach Resort in Portugal have returned from their holidays complaining of illness.
Despite some positive reviews in relation to the location of the hotel, there have been reports that some food served at the hotel was re-heated and recycled. Complaints from one holidaymaker suggest that some of the fish and meat was undercooked and was served with a sauce to disguise what they think was recycled food.
Holidaymakers reported that they fell ill with diarrhoea and sickness. One holidaymaker reported that they collapsed as a result of the gastric illness. Irwin Mitchell is currently acting for a group of clients who holidayed at the resort in May 2013.
