Chambers and Partners (2014)

Clube Praia Da Rocha, 2017

Our International Personal Injury team is concerned by recent reports of gastric illness among guests at the Clube Praia da Rocha in Portugal, between July and October 2017.
The hotel has enjoyed some positive reviews online, however our experts are also aware of reports from holidaymakers who fell ill during their stay. One guest claims the food was “undercooked” whilst another claims that their partner was served burgers “and they were raw”. Other holidaymakers report falling ill with gastric symptoms.

Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness, we know the long term effects that can potentially be associated with such illness, including permanent complications such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

If you also travelled to the Clube Praia da Rocha in Portugal and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
