Club Hotel Aguamarina, 2015
The International Personal Injury team at Irwin Mitchell is concerned to read reports of illness at the Club Hotel Aguamarina in Spain, during holidays taken in May 2015.
Holidaymakers have reported falling ill during their stays at the hotel and also have advised that they were aware of a large number of other guests who fell ill during the duration of their holidays. A number of reports suggest that guests needed to be hospitalised as a result of the severity of their symptoms, which included diarrhoea and vomiting. A number of those hospitalised are reported to be children.
Guests have also raised concerns about the hygiene of the hotel, notably reporting that there was evidence of there being vomit and diarrhoea in the corridors. It was also suggested that there were limited hand gel dispensers around the resort. It was advised that the furniture around the pool was not properly cleaned and bird faeces was often present.
