International personal injury specialists from Irwin Mitchell have been instructed by a family of British holidaymakers who became ill whilst staying at the Club Jandia Princess Hotel in Fuerteventura during July 2015.
One of our clients was diagnosed with Salmonella after developing symptoms including diarrhoea and stomach cramps during their stay.
Despite some positive reviews on consumer review websites, guests who stayed at the resort in July 2015 have complained that some of the food at the hotel’s restaurant was undercooked and raw, whilst there also being a lack of variety. One holidaymaker has reported being served raw chicken from the frill and others have complained about the poor air conditioning in the main restaurant.
We will be investigating why the holidaymakers who contacted us became ill and hope to work with the tour operator to distinguish the facts and improve standards at the resort.
