Club Mac Alcudia Summer 2011
Irwin Mitchell continues to be approached by holidaymakers who have stayed at the Club Mac Alcudia Hotel (also known as the Saturno Jupiter) in Spain this summer who have returned from their holidays complaining of severe gastric illness.
Reports would indicate that the cause of the gastric illness may have been due to the poor quality of food and lack of hygiene standards practised at the hotel. In particular, it is suggested that food was not being served at the correct temperature, recycled food was displayed and new food was frequently poured on top of older food. It is reported that guests suffered from symptoms including diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps.
Such claims have been echoed by postings on the holiday review website Trip Advisor, with comments from other holidaymakers who travelled throughout the summer talking of outbreaks of ‘food poisoning’ and describing their stay at the resort as their ‘holiday from hell.’
If you also stayed at this hotel this summer and suffered gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell’s award winning International Travel Team would like to hear from you as you may be able to claim compensation for your ruined holiday, and also, the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you have suffered.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
