The International Personal Injury team at Irwin Mitchell is concerned to learn that guests have fallen ill with gastric symptoms whilst staying at the Elegance Miramar Hotel, in Tenerife, between August and September 2015.
Despite some positive reviews, holidaymakers have claimed that the food was dried up and cold, with drinks seeming to be watered down. Others have suggested that the food was often so cold that there was a microwave provided in order for you to reheat it.
Concerns relating to the resort’s safety have also been raised, with guests reporting that plug sockets were missing and wires and light fixtures were left hanging from the wall.
Holidaymakers have described falling ill with symptoms including diarrhoea and stomach cramps, with some guests reporting that their family were diagnosed with Salmonella on their return to the UK.
