Holiday Village Majorca Protur Monte Safari Hotel, 2016
We're concerned to receive reports of tourists falling ill with gastric symptoms whilst on holiday at the Holiday Village Majorca Protur Monte Safari hotel in Spain in July 2016.
Our International Personal Injury team has been instructed by a family following their stay at the hotel earlier this year. One of the family started to suffer from symptoms just five days in to their holiday, and required medical treatment on their return to the UK. During their stay at the Holiday Village Majorca, the guests noticed that some of the food in the hotel restaurant was uncovered. On some occasions, hot food was added to cold existing food which had already been sitting out for some time.
Jatinder Paul, an Associate Solicitor and specialist in International Personal Injury cases at Irwin Mitchell, said: "Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness, we know directly the potential long term conditions that can be associated with it, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). We will now be conducting out own investigations as to the cause of our client’s illness."
If you also travelled to the Holiday Village Majorca Protur Monte Safari hotel in Spain and subsequently suffered symptoms of illness, we would like to hear from you. We specialise in dealing with cases of this nature and could help you claim compensation.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
