Holiday Village Majorca Protur Monte Safari Hotel, Spain
We’re concerned to receive reports of holidaymakers falling ill with gastric symptoms whilst on holiday at Holiday Village Majorca Protur Monte Safari in Spain in June 2016.
Our International Personal Injury team have been instructed by a family following their stay at the hotel earlier this year. One of them started to suffer from gastric symptoms a few days in to their holiday and suffered with severe diarrhoea and stomach cramps. His symptoms continued on his return home and he was later diagnosed with Cryptosporidium.
Jatinder Paul, an Associate Solicitor and specialist in International Personal Injury cases at Irwin Mitchell, said, “This was supposed to be a special holiday for these holidaymakers as it was their first family holiday together, however it will now be remembered for all the wrong reasons. We will now be conducting our own investigations as to the cause of our client’s illness”.
Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness, we know first-hand the potential long term conditions that can be associated with it, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
If you also travelled to Holiday Village Majorca Protur Monte Safari in Spain and subsequently suffered symptoms of illness, we'd like to hear from you. We specialise in dealing with cases of this nature and could help you claim compensation.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
