Irwin Mitchell has learned of reports on Trip Advisor of holidaymakers suffering with gastric illness during their stays at the Insotel Tarida Beach Sensatori Resort in Spain in October and November 2016.

Despite some positive reviews online, other holidaymakers have complained of gastric illness symptoms during their stay. A family of four reported that they suffered with diarrhoea, vomiting and abdominal pain during their trip which stopped them enjoying their holiday to its full potential. Another family of three reported similar symptoms and one of them was so severely ill that they had to be hospitalised.

One holidaymaker also complained that the buffet food was often served lukewarm while others complained of an occasional strong smell of sewage around their hotel room.
