Jupiter Hotel, Club Mac Resort, Alcudia, 2015

Specialist international personal injury lawyers at Irwin Mitchell have been instructed by seven holidaymakers following their one week stay at the Jupiter Hotel, Club Mac Resort, Alcudia, from May to June 2015.

The party of seven travelled to the hotel in Spain which was their fourth stay at the resort. However on this occasion, illness struck five of the seven holidaymakers. The guests suffered variously with symptoms such as diarrhoea, vomiting and severe abdominal pains.

The guests have reported that the restaurant was sometimes dirty and some of the food in the buffet area was left uncovered for long periods of time. It has also been said that some of the food appeared to be served on more than one occasion and that the swimming pool had to be emptied on one occasion due to excrement being seen.

Jatinder Paul, an international personal injury expert from Irwin Mitchell, said: “Our clients’ holidays were ruined due to gastric illness and this time will now be remembered for all the wrong reasons.

“It is concerning to hear reports of illness at this resort as it is not the first time that we have represented holidaymakers who returned from this destination. We have successfully concluded cases regarding holidays to this resort in 2011 and continue to represent holidaymakers who stayed at the resort in the summer of 2014.”
