The International Personal Injury team at Irwin Mitchell is concerned to learn of recent reports of gastric illness at the Ponderosa Apart Hotel in Spain this year.
Despite some positive reviews, a holidaymaker reported that their holiday was ruined when they and their partner fell ill at the hotel. They described some of the service as unacceptable whilst a fellow guest said some of the food was repeated every day and they feel that this was the cause of one of their group’s illness.
A visitor expressed that their holiday was ‘two miserable weeks’ and a ‘nightmare’ and another holidaymaker described that they were worried that they would get food poisoning as some of the food was served stone cold and tasted horrible. At breakfast some of the fried eggs were served cold. Furthermore, other guests said some of the food was disgusting and that they had suffered bad stomachs.
