Sandos San Blas Hotel Reserva Ambiental, Tenerife, Spain

Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers staying at the Sandos San Blas Hotel Reserva Ambiental, Tenerife, in Spain after reading complaints following holidays taken in late December 2011 and January 2012.
 
Reports have suggested that holidaymakers are returning from their holidays incredibly disappointed. One guest has complained about the faulty air-conditioning unit and the fact that the poor drainage in the bathroom often flooded the room. However, more concerning are the complaints relating to the standard of food provided by the hotel.
 
The food has been described as “appalling” being the “worst selection and quality of food I have ever experienced in a hotel buffet”. It is reported that the food was always served lukewarm and that meats, including fish, chicken and pork, were regularly served undercooked. The fish was reported to be wet and translucent whilst chicken and pork were raw and bloody in the centre. Serving such meats undercooked can result in serious cases of food poisoning.
 
Other meals tended to be pasta dishes and stews which were believed to be recycled dishes made up from leftover food. Turkey was served up on six evenings after the Christmas dinners which suggests that old food was being re-used in new dishes.
