The International Personal Injury Team at Irwin Mitchell are concerned by recent reports of guests falling ill with respiratory symptoms during holidays taken at the Sol Palmanova Resort in Palma Nova, Spain in September 2017.

Following the holidaymakers' return from holiday there was a diagnosis of suspected Legionnaires' disease, with a holiday maker unable to return to work for a month.

Legionnaires' symptoms can range from mild headaches to muscle pain, tiredness and confusion. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract Legionnaires' we know first-hand the potentially dangerous effects that can be associated with such illness, such as organ infections and septic shock. In rare occasions Legionnaires' disease can lead to death.
