Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort, 2016
We're concerned to learn of recent reports of guests falling ill with gastric symptoms while one holiday at the Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort in Thailand between April and August 2016.
The hotel has enjoyed some positive reviews online, however our International Personal Injury team has also learnt of reports regarding holidaymakers who became ill during their stay there. One tourist claims that they saw “people trying to eat while constantly chasing away flies”. Other holidaymakers report falling ill with gastric symptoms.
Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness Irwin Mitchell know first-hand the potential long term effects that can be associated with such illness, with sometimes permanent long term complications arising such as Post infective Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
If you also travelled to the Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort in Thailand and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, we'd like to hear from you. we specialise in dealing with cases of this nature and could help you claim compensation.
