Tropikist Beach Hotel Resort, Crown Point Tobago, Trinidad and Tobago
Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers staying at the Tropikist Beach Hotel Resort, Crown Point Tobago, in Trinidad and Tobago during August 2011 after receiving reports of gastric illness amongst guests.
It is reported that the hotel accommodation is run down with the furniture being old and dilapidated.
It has also been suggested that one guest and his daughter spotted three rats roaming the restaurant area which had to be scared off by other guests. It is reported that holidaymakers fell ill with symptoms of suspected food poisoning, including symptoms of diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps. The symptoms were so severe that the guests called the local doctor to attend them and purchased medication whilst in resort.
It is possible that the illnesses experienced by holidaymakers was due to a breakdown in food handling and food hygiene procedures.
If you also travelled to this hotel and suffered from gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be able to claim for your ruined holiday, and also, the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you sustained.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
