Abou Sofiane Hotel, Tunisia 2013
Irwin Mitchell’s leading travel litigation team has been instructed to act for holidaymakers who stayed at the Abou Sofiane Hotel in Tunisia in September 2013.
The guests returned from their two week stay at the hotel complaining of symptoms of diarrhoea, stomach cramps and vomiting.
One holidaymaker has reported that he had to see a doctor in the resort due to the severity of his symptoms. He also reports that because he was still ill on return home, he attended upon his own doctor for advice in relation to his symptoms. He continues to suffer illness.
Many of the holidaymakers fell ill suffering from symptoms of diarrhoea, stomach cramps and vomiting. They report how the illness suffered impacted upon their enjoyment of the holiday.
Despite some positive reviews holidaymakers raised concerns in relation to some food being served undercooked and some food being served lukewarm.
