Dar Khayam Hotel, Tunisia
Irwin Mitchell is concerned to reads of reports of illness at the Dar Khayam Hotel in Tunisia in July and August 2012.
One holidaymaker has reported that the food on offer was “appalling” and was “mainly cold, repetitive and not served in a hygienic manner”. The same holidaymaker who travelled in a party of 10 stated that some are “still suffering 2 weeks later with cramps and upset tummies”. A further holidaymaker who travelled in a party of 10 reportedly suggests that they “all started falling ill with stomach bugs”.
It is further reported that there were food scraps lying outside food areas in the hotel, hot food and cold food were occasionally served at incorrect temperatures and there were flies in and around the food on offer at the hotel. Further complaints include holidaymakers witnessing Tunisian children being washed and going to the toilet in the pool and vomit allegedly not being cleaned from the side of the pool for 2 days.
Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you if you have suffered from gastric illness or sustained an injury whilst staying at this hotel.
