Irwin Mitchell have received reports of gastric illness amongst holidaymakers staying at the El Mouradi Club Kantaoui, Port El Kantaoui, in Tunisia during July 2011.
Holidaymakers have reported how the buffet restaurant had a horrible smell, the food was left uncovered for hours, attracting flies and that table linen was dirty. It has also been alleged that the drinks were watered down with tap water and that the public toilets at the hotel were far from clean, with no lights or toilet roll.
Possibly as a result of the alleged breakdown in food hygiene and cleaning procedures, many of the guests at the resort fell ill with symptoms of gastric illness. One family have said how they booked an early return flight home just four days into their holiday because of the illness.
