Irwin Mitchell are concerned to learn reports of gastric illness at the Hotel Kanta, Tunisia, 2014.
Despite positive reviews holidaymakers who stayed at the hotel this summer described it to be the “worst holiday ever” and that both the holidaymaker and partner “were both really ill with stomach cramps and constantly on the toilet”, the holidaymaker was aware of other guests having “salmonella” and is currently awaiting results from the their Doctor now they are back in the UK. The food was on occasions described as warm and not hot, and the pool was dirty on more than one occasion. Another holidaymaker describes the holiday as a “dreadful experience” and that they “contracted salmonella poisoning on day 3” of their holiday.
