Illness at the Soviva Hotel, Tunisia, 2012
Irwin Mitchell’s leading travel litigation lawyers have once again been instructed to act for holidaymakers who travelled to the Soviva Hotel in Tunisia in July 2012 returning with gastric illness.
This is not the first time that Irwin Mitchell has represented holidaymakers who have stayed at the Soviva Hotel. Irwin Mitchell acted for more than 150 British holidaymakers who were successful in recovering in excess of £490,000 in compensation after their holidays at the hotel were ruined in the summer of 2002 where several holidaymakers developed various gastric infections such as campylobacter and salmonella.
More recently, in July 2012 holidaymakers have told us that they fell ill with gastric symptoms including diarrhoea and severe stomach cramps as well as vomiting, nausea, and continuing lethargy. They have reported that the food served at the hotel was lukewarm and was left uncovered for prolonged periods. Holidaymakers have also reported several other concerns they had such as dirty cutlery and damp bedding in hotel rooms.
If you have travelled to this hotel and subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
