Irwin Mitchell’s expert travel litigation team has received reports of illness at the Vincci Nour Palace in Tunisia during May 2014.
Despite a number of positive reviews, it has been reported that on occasions, food was recycled from day to day, salads were left out to go brown and fish was served without being properly gutted or prepared in the correct manner. It was also reported that food was sometimes left uncovered and exposed to flies.
There have been reports of holidaymakers falling ill with symptoms of diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps. One holidaymaker also reported that they were hospitalised due to their symptoms upon their return home.
