Batihan Beach Resort & Spa
The International Personal Injury Team at Irwin Mitchell are concerned to learn of recent reports of guests falling ill with gastric symptoms during holidays taken at the Batihan Beach Resort & Spa in Turkey in September 2015.
Despite positive reviews, we've read reports regarding holidaymakers who fell ill during stays at the hotel. Holidaymakers said that some of the food such as the eggs were “inedible, watery and rubbery in texture.” Other tourists report falling ill with diarrhoea and stomach cramps, with one individual “rushed to hospital in an ambulance” due to the severity of their symptoms. A number of guests continue to suffer from symptoms after their return home.
Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell know first-hand the potential long term effects associated with such illness, like post-infective irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
If you also travelled to the Batihan Hotel in Turkey and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, we'd like to hear from you.
