Club Dorado Hotel, Aegean Coast
Irwin Mitchell has received reports of holidaymakers returning from their holidays' in July 2010 suffering with symptoms of gastric illness. Holidaymakers who have been effected are returning from the Club Dorado Hotel, which is located along the Aegean Coast, in Turkey.
Reports have suggested that holidaymakers have become ill with suspected food poisoning, possibly due to the poor food hygiene standards practised at the hotel. One report states that a member their party, a young girl, contracted Salmonella poisoning, which is a severe form of food poisoning, which resulted in her requiring hospital treatment and the administration of a drip. It is also reported that the drinks provided at the hotel were watered down and served in dirty glasses, and, when bottled water was requested as an alternative, the water smelt of mould.
Other complaints are alleged suggesting that the rooms were filthy, and particularly the bathrooms. One family have complained saying that they had booked a pool view room and, upon arrival, they had not been allocated a room with a pool view. It took two more room changes before the family were given the room they had requested.
If you also travelled to this hotel and suffered from gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be able to claim compensation for your ruined holiday, and also, the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you sustained.
